Born in Indiana, Jody Medich received a BFA from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. She has shown her work in diverse arenas from Patricia Sweetow Gallery to NASA, and currently has her work displayed on Pier 14 on San Francisco’s Embarcadero.
Jody has curated shows across the country including San Francisco and at SCAD in Savannah, Georgia and is on the Curatorial Board for Warehouse416 in Oakland. She works on individual studio projects as well as large group projects with the art crew Five Ton Crane. She also owns and operates Kicker Studio where she works with gestural interface and emerging technology.
Her art work has been seen in Time Magazine, the New York Times, and Wired.com.
